This 1927 Nash Light 6 model 221 Tourer has spent all its life in the mid north of South Australia. It has been owned by 2 families from new! Mr Townsend of Peterborough purchased it second hand in the 30's after a very good day at the races! About 35 years ago Mr Townsend's grandson recomissioned the Nash. It remains in extremely original condition (although now a little scruffy), it runs and drives beautifully. The 72,000 Miles showing on the spedometer we believe to be genuine. Fitted with its original side valve 6 cylinder 21.6hp engine and 4 wheel mechanical brakes, and still with all its features including 20" disc wheels, vacuum tank, 6 volt Parabeam lights, Stadium spot light, and luggage rack.The Nash was known as a good dependable car, this extremely genuine example is quite presentable and can be used as is (probably my choice) or easily restored.
